Educational Institutions have goal to produce
science teachers who are competent in both theory and practical teaching. This
is because science is best learned through practice. Laboratory and laboratory
apparatus are important aspects which will help science teachers to present the
subject matter more effectively to students during instruction.
Education
institutions should make sure that science teachers are well trained to be
competent enough in several practical aspects such as chemical preparation and
practical handouts to make sure that the students can clearly understand the
practical objectives /aims and be able to do experiments themselves so as to
cope with the development of the world especially development of science and
technology. A study made by students from MUCE, (July 14, 2011) addressed that
doing experiments is the best way of learning science because when student do
experiment themselves make observation and discover scientific principles to
apply in daily life. To achieve this it needs students to master science
subjects which will enable them to carry out different operation in machines,
to investigate different things and do well in healthy institutions.
